i heart new york
For as long as i can remember i have had a love affair with New York City. The majority of my favourite tv shows and movies are all set in this enchanting, bustling and captivating city. I have a huge New York bucket list and a number of city guidebooks that i cant wait to use one day while spending my days exploring.
The Statue of Liberty, Empire State building, the Met, Magnolia Bakery, Dean and Deluca and Barney’s oh my! And thats just the beginning of the things. Its finding pictures like these that can be the biggest daydream and sometimes helps getting me through things.

winter is here!
So first things first, today is my birthday :) have reached the big 23 and am not quite sure how i feel about it. Have had an early morning start at the hospital again and have now got the much lighter fiber cast on to make movements a lot easier. At least a positive with my recovery is that i should get it off in 4 weeks which is a bit sooner than the usual 6 week mark previously stipulated by the doctors. So very glad its recovering and hopefully i can get on with physio and get back into my sports.
Secondly being the start of May we do expect the temps to drop but jeez it was a lovely -1 this morning. Was definitley a bit of a mish getting out of bed for my early appointment. Knew it was the right time to book a overseas SUMMER holiday. Oh well, hopefully Thomas enjoys the trip to see his family and has a strong result in his triathlon.
So above is my picture inspiration for these cold but stunning days here in the South Island. I do love this time of year fashion wise, comfy knits, thick warm scarves, colourful beanies and boots galore. Least i can do while im at home is some online shopping to keep me sane.
